The Bible Gives a Verdict About Homosexuality and Transgenderism

The Bible teaches that any and every sexual relationship which is not between a man and a woman who are married to each is a sin which incurs God’s judgment.

Matthew 19:3-6: “The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him (tempting Jesus), and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain (two) shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

That God made Adam and Eve rather than Adam and Steve is a timeless principle.

1 Corinthians 7:1-2: “Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.”

God’s wrath then is against those who are involved in any type of sexual relations which are not between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

Hebrews 13:4: “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”

His wrath is also against those who so much as dress in a way which is not congruent with their God-given gender (which is noted on birth certificates); much more yet towards those who seek to change their gender and those who persuade others to do so.

Deuteronomy 22:5 (consider the several obvious implications of this simple command): “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”

His wrath is also against those who consent to behavior which He deems wicked.

Romans 1:32: “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

And though this applies to consenting to/being in agreement with any behavior which is wicked in the Lord’s sight, the verse just read is stated in the aftermath of the citation of homosexuality as a chief example of mankind’s rebellion against God; and a chief way in which God punishes evildoers by giving them over to harm themselves as they to pursue the lusts of their own hearts in defiance of Him.

Psalm 28:5: “Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.”
