Salvation

99%+ of the “Churches” on the street corners of the world preach a false gospel. Let’s learn here how to be saved according to the Bible. Do you love Jesus and obey His commands (John 14:15)? If not, you are not His friend (you are not saved) John 15:14. Please watch the video below and follow along with the Biblical text.

Jesus said, in Matthew 7:13-14, that there are only two roads to choose, the NARROW ROAD, AND THE WIDE ROAD. There is only one way to be saved according to the Bible.

Matthew 7:13-17 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.”

But Jesus said many will choose the road that leads to SPIRITUAL DEATH. Which road are you on? There are some things one must do to be sure they are on the narrow road, and apart from these there is NO salvation but death. 1st John 5:12 “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”

The truth is simple; REPENT and FORSAKE ALL YOUR SINS. And then get baptized. Through your free will and ability God has given to you, in repentance you die (to sin) with Christ and thus crucify “your” flesh; Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” and your heart is made PURE by faith working by love. 1st Peter 1:22-23 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

Evidence of a saving faith; Galatians 5:6 “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.”

Now you OBEY GOD cleansed, purged and scrubbed clean of all your overflow of wickedness and defilement; Galatians 5:24-25 “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” able to receive with meekness the implanted Word that can SAVE YOUR SOUL. Romans 6:4-6 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” And; James 1:21-23 “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.”

Come sorrowing after the Mercy of God, CLEARED of wrong doings by FORSAKING THEM ALL (past sins, never future sins); Romans 3:25  “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God” and making restitution where necessary. Vehemently desiring in your heart to OBEY HIM with great zeal and passion, presuming nothing and plead for reconciliation.

2nd Corinthians 5:11-21 “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. 12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. 13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. 14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

This is the Model of Redemption set forth in the Bible; 2nd Corinthians 7:10-11 “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.”

Thus the TRUE MEANING OF BIBLE REDEMPTION:

Matthew 20:28 “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

1st Timothy 2:5-6 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

What Jesus did on the Cross was NOT take anyone’s place, BUT Provide Himself as A SIN OFFERING; (Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit OFFERED HIMSELF without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” to ransom Man and turn him from darkness to Light, from the power of Satan to God; Acts 26:18 “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

Hence the “works” of the Devil are DESTROYED and Man can be restored to an upright heart. 1stJohn 3:7-8 “Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

***THIS IS NOT THE “RANSOM THEORY” WHERE THEY BELIEVE JESUS PAID OFF THE DEVIL, THAT’S WICKED! THIS IS HOW TO BE SAVED ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE.

HOW TO BE SAVED ACCORDING TO THE HOLY BIBLE

Now the Bible makes sense! DEEDS (WORKS / FRUIT / OBEYING HIS COMMANDMENTS)will be the deciding factor in your final salvation, not some mystical “trust” in an illusion.G3083

Romans 2:7-11 “To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God.”

1st Peter 1:17 “And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear.”

Professed Christians today are believing “everything” but the Truth simply because most of them have NEVER been exposed to the truth; and it’s very possible they are doing all they can to hide from it anyways. Many don’t want to learn how to be saved according to the Bible as it requires obedience. It’s an unfortunate reality however that their belief systems have a very strong tendency to silence their conscience to the CONVICTING POWER of the Holy Spirit. Thus, when they do hear the Truth, it cannot cut them to the heart; Acts 2:37 “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?” so that they would be motivated to repent. When a person is convinced that some form of doctrine is correct, it’s almost impossible to persuade them otherwise. 2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

To them the Bible supports their fallacies and absolves them from obedience. Given that the “Substitution Model” provides the PERFECT excuse for sin, there is NOT much of a chance many will escape its clutches and see the Light before their time is up. If you believe in God and trust that Jesus is your Savior you NEED to get this right. The foundation on which you stand should be deeply rooted in the truth. Don’t rely on someone else to dig for you. Luke 6:46-49 “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”

CHOOSE THE RIGHT ROAD. AND REMEMBER SIN IS A CHOICE, NOT A DISEASE WE INHERITED, OR WERE BORN INTO. Repent first; Isaiah 55:7 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”

Seek HIS mercy, and get BORN AGAIN! You must die once to sin to be born again. John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The Holy Spirit can now indwell you to produce good fruit and guide you into all righteousness and TRUTH. Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.”

Now, FEAR GOD, hope in His great mercy, forsake all the dead things of this world and serve Him to the bitter end. A full study with a video of baptisms can be found here (https://eternalevangelism.com/study-on-christian-baptism/). Baptism for the unrepentant (those who don’t confess AND forsake all sin) is meaningless and simply makes one a “wet sinner”. Yet you cannot claim to be a repentant, obedient disciple of Christ and neglect His command to be baptized as such (see Acts 2:38, 1st Peter 3:21, etc). This is a key aspect of beginning to follow through on true repentance; yet if one still regards sin and is not following through on every aspect wherein they must be obedient to God’s Word, then baptism in and of itself has no value. Don’t believe the “hyper grace” false teachers that tell you all you have to do is pray a “sinner’s prayer” to be “saved” and don’t believe the “baptismal regeneration” hereticks that teach the act of baptism “saves” one soul. You must pick up your own cross (God’s love is conditional) and endure ’til the end for final salvation, lest you fall away and perish.

Are you ready to be hated by the world but loved by God? Are you truly ready to “forsake all”? Are you truly learning how to be saved according to the Bible?

Matthew 10:22 “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

John 15:19 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore THE WORLD HATETH YOU.”

To conclude, you must repent, live holy and biblically perfect for the one true God (Jesus) as you have breath here on earth. Jesus will not “cover” you in your willful sin no matter how much you say you “believe” in Him. If you need to, and most do, I pray you truly repent and follow Jesus, I truly do. I am always here to speak with those who are genuinely seeking the Truth. There is absolutely no hope after you take your last breath. Choose LIFE, not death. To Jesus be all the glory. AMEN

Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

Backsliding

Rev 22:18 “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” We believe that true Christians have the ability to backslide, depart from the faith, be cut off and/or fall away (this is commonly called “losing your salvation”) because they still have “free will” given to them by God. A Christian doesn’t have “eternal life” eternally until they step into eternity. Christians are on “probation” or a testing period while still on earth (Ezekiel 33:12-20Matthew 24:48-51Matthew 25:1-13Romans 11:20-231 Corinthians 10:5-13Hebrews 3:6-4:1James 5:19-201 Timothy 4:1-2). More here.

A Christian Must Live Holy

1st Peter 1:16 “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy”  & Matthew 5:48 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” We believe that Christians don’t have to sin, have the power over sin and are commanded not to sin by a Holy God. A Christian can live a life of complete obedience to God, every moment of everyday. Christians still have the ability to sin since they will always have free will, but it should be few and far between, if ever. It should never be a matter of “when” a Christian sins but “if” a Christian sins. A Christian definitely shouldn’t be sinning daily (“he who sins is of the devil” 1st John 3:8).

Sin should be the exception in the Christian’s life, not the rule. We can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. If we walk according to the Spirit, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. If we abide in Christ, we will not sin. If a Christian really loves God, they will obey Him. God’s commandments are NOT a burden to keep. When God commands us to do something, He gives us the ability to be obedient. IF a Christian sins, they have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One (Matthew 5:48John 5:148:11John 14:211 Corinthians 10:13Philippians 4:131 John 2:11 John 2:3-61 John 5:3-4Galatians 5:161 John 3:6). A Christian does not stay in the sin/repent…sin/repent cycle. A true Christian lives holy (Biblically perfect). More here.

Eternal Life – Heaven & Hell

We believe in the resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous; those who are righteous unto the resurrection of life, and those who are unrighteous unto the resurrection of damnation. Those who know God and obey the Gospel will reside in the Kingdom of God/Heaven for all eternity and those who do not know God and do not obey the Gospel will be punished with everlasting destruction, from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. They will go to the Lake of Fire, which is also called Hell (John 5:28-29John 11:25Revelation 20:5-62 Thessalonians 1:7-9). More here.

The Sin and Weakness of Compromising

We believe it is a sin against the “the profession of our faith” (Hebrews 10:23) in Jesus Christ to compromise in any area of the gospel ministry, and they that do so are “menpleasers” (Ephesians 6:6 * Colossians 3:22), “gainsayers” (Titus 1:9 * Acts 10:29 * Jude 11) and wavering contradictors like “a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed” with the opinions and arguments of men and not God (James 1:67). We believe a compromise is just that, a co-promise made to settle differences without offending the wrong side, and such flies in the face of God as a breach of faith when we are commanded to “hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)”. Tolerance & compromise is not biblical love. (Revelation 3:16)
