Christianity is Incompatible with Islam (Abbreviated Version)

Genesis 3:14-15: “And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

Later on in Genesis 22:6-8: “And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.  And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son.  And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?  And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.”

God then gave Abraham a ram to offer instead.  The lamb of ultimate significance had not been provided yet.

(Moving ahead to the time of Moses) Leviticus 17:11: “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

(Moving ahead now beyond Moses’ time- yet still well before Jesus was incarnate) Isaiah 7:14: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us).”

(Now we’re moving ahead to the time which Jesus lived on earth) John 1:29-34: “The next day John (this is John the Baptist; not the Apostle John who wrote the Gospel of John) seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.  And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.  And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.  And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.”

And later on in the New Testament we read in 1 Timothy 2:5-6: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

The Apostle Peter thus testified after Jesus’ death and resurrection in Acts 2:32-40: “This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.  Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.  For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool.  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.  And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward (or, out of the way) generation.”

Salvation is of the Jews; and that salvation is in Jesus Christ whom the Jewish Scriptures (the Old Testament) point to as the ultimate King and only Redeemer.  There is truly salvation in no other.

Yet the Jews as a people have overall rejected Him and also fought against God’s verdict that they be ejected from the land God had given them for doing so (that verdict was carried out through the Jewish war with the Romans in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD).  The Jews’ anger and rage over their rejection by God are what the modern Zionist movement represents.  Those victimized by the Jews in their Zionist enterprise have not been primarily targeted based upon their religion but are rather seen as obstacles to the Jews in their war against Jesus Christ and war against humanity as a whole (which He created).

Christians should have been the most opposed to Israel becoming a nation again and most forward to stand against the Zionist oppressors of the Palestinians. Sadly though, that has not been the case.  It has actually been closer to the opposite. Yet that is sadly no wonder.  The lives of multitudes of professing Christians, in this way, as well as in countless others, are also incompatible with Biblical Christianity.

Denying Jesus Christ being the Son of God is siding with His Jewish enemies.

Returning back to the Gospel accounts, we read the following things:

John 5:22-24: “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father.  He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him.  Verily, verily, (truly, truly) I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

John 8:51-59: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.  Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil.  Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.  Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead?  and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?  Jesus answered, If I honor myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that honoreth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.  Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.  Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?  Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.  Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.”

Jesus virtually said He is the Messiah and the Son of God here- and His Jewish opponents knew it.
