How to Evangelize to Muslims

Here is the biblical way to preach to muslims, with knowledge. You need to study to shew yourselves approved as a Christian and be equipped to witness to anyone that may cross your path! Below is a short video and notes from brothers William & Joshua, our indigenous missionaries from Moyale Kenya. They preach Christ to Muslims daily as they live in an area which is 90% Muslim.

1Jn 2:22  “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

The Quran denies the SON (JESUS) as GOD! 

Quran 112″1-4 Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, 2 Allah, the Eternal Refuge. 3 He neither begets nor is born, 4 Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”

Most Muslims believe that the Bible has been greatly corrupted. They also believe that the message of all the prophets is found in the Qur’an, so that the Bible is unnecessary. Our mission is to show the Muslim that this accusation is unfounded and actually contrary to the teaching of the Quran. Once we show that the Bible contains the Books of Moses, David and Jesus then it is easy to guide a Muslim to true doctrine by teaching them the Holy Bible. In fact, the Qur’an states that the Jesus is the sign to the whole world(21:91) “And [mention] the one who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her [garment] through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.”

We first need to show the Muslim that the Bible is the Torah, Zabur and Injil. Bible means “books” and Christians are the people of the book. It seems that Muhammad really had no first hand knowledge of what the Bible actually was or taught. Meaning that it does not seem he ever actually read it himself. But he had enough interaction with Jews and Christians and the stories from the Bible include oral traditions and Biblical stories in the Quran.

The Quran does not reject the previous scriptures from the Jews and Christians. If a Muslim holds the Bible to be corrupted then essentially he is also saying that the Quran is Corrupted. It’s that simple.

The Quran commands all people to believe in the Torah, Zabur and Injil. (Q.3:3 It is He who sent down to thee (step by step),in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and he sent down the law (of moses)and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and he sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).

Torah is the book of Moses, Zabur is psalms and Injil is Gospel. Muslim were commanded in those books and they are ignoring. Gospel tell us good news about Jesus.
Quran says to Muslim; If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. Q. 5:66 “And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them – evil is that which they do.”

The Quran says the word of God cannot be changed. (Q.6:115) “The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and injustice: None can change His words:for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all.”

Mohammed was not assured of salvation Surah Al-Ahqaf (46:9) Tell them: “I am not the first of the Messengers; and I do not know what shall be done with me or with you. I follow only what is revealed to me, and I am nothing but a plain warner.” 

Although Muhammad is assumed to be holy and mighty, but Allah does not glorify him as his prophet/Messenger in these verses of the Quran.
Surah Az-zumar 39:30 You, Muhammad will die and your people will die too.
Surah al-taubah 9:80 whether you ask for their forgiveness for seventy(70) times,Allah will not forgive you.
Surah Al-Ahqaf 46:9 Muhammed say that I do not know what will be done to me and I do not know what will be done to those Muslims follow me.

All Muslims must go through hell. Allah says he will send Muhammad and all Muslims to hell and after all of them are there, then they will remove those who fear Allah. Surah 19:68-72 “So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 69 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 70 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 71 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 72 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.”

The Holy Bible says: Heb 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ(Jesus) was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

The list goes on and on regarding these heresies. It’s up to true Christians, like William & Joshua, who STUDY to SHEW THEMSELVES APPROVED to preach to these lost souls that need to hear the truth in love. God bless all who heed HIS calling.

Next, we want to prove to Muslims that ALLAH of the Quran is not the GOD of the Bible or Jehovah / Yahuwah.

Allah is a word used by Arab Muslims and Christians to mean the different God they believe in. When a Muslim Arab refers to Allah, he is referring to the one in the Quran who has no son, but has Isa, who is a slave and a prophet. SURAH MARYAM 19:30 “[‘Iesa (Jesus)] said, “Indeed, I am the servant(slave) of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.”

When a Christian Arab refers to Allah, he is referring to the God in the Bible who has a son, Jesus Christ, who died and is resurrected and ascended into heaven and whose name is YESHUA in Arabic.

God of the Bible created Heaven and earth and everything in there in six days, Genesis 1:26-27, including man in His Image from soil. 

Allah of the Quran created the earth in eight days without creating man, SURAH FUSSILAT 41:9-12 “Say, Do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in TWO days and attribute to Him equals? That is the Lord of the worlds. 10 And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures’] sustenance in FOUR days without distinction – for [the information] of those who ask. 11 Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, “Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion.” They said, “We have come willingly. 12 And He completed them as seven heavens within TWO days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.” without Allah explaining how it was created, like it’s explained in the Bible. Exo 20:11 “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.”

In Islamic book of “The story of the prophets ” by IBN Kathir, pages 4-7. “Allah created Adam in a period of 40 years with the help of the angel of death. “So Allah sent Michael for the same purpose, and the land sought refuge with Allah and it was granted. So he went back and said to Allah what Gabriel has said before him. Then Allah sent the Angel of Death, and the land sought refuge in Allah, the angel said: “I also seek refuge with Allah from returning without carrying out His command.” So he took clay from the face of the earth and mixed it. He did not take from one particular place, but rather he took white, red, and black clay from different places. The Angel of Death ascended with it, Allah soaked the clay till it became sticky. Then Allah said to the angels: “Truly, I am going to create man from clay. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him.” (Chapter 38:71-72 Quran). So Allah shaped Adam into a human being, but he remained a figure of clay for fourty years. The angels went past him. They were seized with fear by what they saw, and Iblis felt fear most. He used to pass by the figure of Adam, buffeting it, which would make a sound like pottery. Allah told us: “He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.” (Chapter 55:Quran). When the time drew near to breathe the spirit into Adam, as Allah decreed, He commanded the angels: “When I breathe My spirit into him prostrate before him.” Allah breathed His spirit into Adam and when it reached his head Adam sneezed. The angels said: “Say all praise belongs to Allah.” Adam repeated: “All praise belongs to Allah.” Allah said to him: “Your Lord has granted you mercy.” When the spirit reached his eyes, Adam looked at the fruits of Paradise. When it reached his abdomen Adam felt an appetite for food. He jumped hurriedly before the spirit could reach his legs, so that he could eat from the fruits of Paradise. Allah, therefore, said: “Man is created of haste.” (Chapter 21:37 Quran).“

In Surah Nur 24:35 “Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.” That says that Allah’s image is like a lamp, and a lamp can be switched on and off and at times, switched off permanently and can’t move by itself, so is there an image at all?

In Surah Iklas 112:4 “Nor is there to Him any equivalent.” Allah has no image and nothing can be compared to him, so, Allah created man who is not in his image

In general, Allah’s image cannot be properly explained by Muslims as most of them deny Allah’s existence as a spirit. There are Muslims who believe that angel Gabriel of the Quran is the Holy Spirit. The same Angel Gabriel of the Quran who was threatened by a dog which was supposed to have been created by his Allah and a picture which was made by man whom he is supposed to be superior over. He literally could not enter Muhammad’s house because those two Items were in it. Talk about a “fearless god”!  Sahih Muslim, Book 24, Number 5246 says: Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture. “Aisha reported that Gabriel (peace be upon him) made a promise with Allah’s Messenger [Muhammad] (may peace be upon him) to come at a definite hour; that hour came but he did not visit him. And there was in his hand (in the hand of Allah’s Apostle) a staff. He threw it from his hand and said: Never has Allah or His messengers (angels) ever broken their promise. Then he cast a glance (and by chance) found a puppy under his cot and said: ‘Aisha, when did this dog enter here? She said: By Allah, I don’t know. He then commanded and it was turned out. Then Gabriel came and Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to him: You promised me and I waited for you, but you did not come, whereupon he said: It was the dog in your house which prevented me (to come), for we (angels) do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture.”

Muhammad declared that if any man were to keep a dog other than for hunting or guarding the herd, he “loses everyday out of his deeds equal to two qiraat” (Sahih Muslim, Book 010, Number 3815). In other words, Muslims with house-dogs would lose their eternal rewards.

But God of the Bible sent His Angel in the lion’s den to save Daniel. Daniel 6:21-22 “Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. 22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.” And was also present in the fiery furnace to save Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! Daniel 3:8-30. (Dan 3:25  He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.)

Muhammad believed that certain types of urine had a medicinal effect:

Another tradition says that Muhammad told them to, “drink a mixture of its (camel’s) milk and urine.” (As-Sayyid Sabiq, Fiqh us-Sunnah, Purification and Prayer, vol. 1, p. 12)

Muslim scholars have used these traditions to prove that Muhammad made animal urine permissible to drink. For instance, the compiler of the five-volume set of Fiqh us-Sunnahsays that, “by analogy, other permissible animals’ urine may also be considered pure.” (Ibid.)

And according to Ibn al-Munzhir, “Those who claim that that was permissible only for those people are incorrect,” since “scholars permit, without any objection, the sale of sheep’s stools and the use of camel’s urine in their medicine, both in the past and in the present, again without any objection. This shows that they are considered pure.” (Ibid.)

Ash-Shaukani stated that, “Apparently, the urine and stools of every animal permissible to eat is pure.” (Ibid.)

To this the compiler states, “There is nothing to prove otherwise.” (Ibid.)

There are also Muslims who believe Allah is the black stone which is in the KAABAH OF MECCA (house of Allah) where Muslims face while praying.

Allah of the Quran recommends the followers of Islam who have lost hope to hang themselves with a rope. Surah Haji 22:15 “Whoever should think that Allah will not support [Prophet Muhammad] in this world and the Hereafter – let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him see: will his effort remove that which enrages [him]?”

God of the Bible restores hope and encourages people to pray and trust in Him. Exodus 14:14 “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

Allah of the Quran forbids Muslims to be called his children but recommends them to call themselves slaves. Surah Maryam 19:93  “There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant (translated slave).” and hates those people who call themselves his children Surah 19 verses 88-92 “And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son. You have done an atrocious thing. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation. That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.”

The God of the Holy Bible says anybody who accepts Jesus Christ is His child John 1:12-13 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”  and Galatians 3:26-27 “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”  So, when one truly repents from sin and lives holy obeying Jesus until the end, they can be saved. The One True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob (JESUS)  says in John 15:14-15  “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” 

The God of the Bible’s love is available to everyone as He gave Himself as a Sin Offering, John 3:16 and 1 John 4:8, but, only becomes His child after accepting Jesus Christ. We know God’s wrath rests on all sinners. In fact, He does not hear them lest they are truly repentant.
