The Bible is Living and Relevant TODAY

The Bible is Living and Relevant TODAY

First, we must start with this truth.

2nd Timothy 3:16-17 “ALL SCRIPTURE (THE 66 BOOKS OF THE HOLY BIBLE) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

Now, these 66 books of the Holy Bible (KJV is the best English translation) are just a minute fraction of the TRUTH that will be learned when one enters Heaven, few will.

John 21:24-25 “This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. 25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”

Further, Jesus says to “OBEY THOSE WHO HAVE RULE OVER YOU”… God ordains FEW to be teachers and commands His born-again children to listen to and learn from them! Many have gone from one ditch (the false church) and went into the other ditch of being unchurched.

James 3:1 “My brethren, be not many masters (TEACHERS), knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”

Hebrews 13:7-8 “Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I CHANGE NOT; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

If you don’t agree, please know without a doubt you are going straight to hell (that includes Paulians and those who “just believe the words of Jesus” aka “the red letters”, etc). Gnostic heresy!

Further, dualism will lead you right to hell! One can’t be a saint and a sinner at the same time. Sinners do not enter Heaven. OK, let’s get started.

John 1:1-4 “In the beginning was the Word (Logos = JESUS), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but THE WORD OF GOD SHALL STAND FOREVER.”

1st Peter 1:25  “But the WORD of the Lord ENDURETH FOREVER. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”

It’s a living book. The Bible is described as God-breathed in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 which we just read. How can a book be alive? In Genesis 2:7 we’re told that God made man from the dust of the ground and breathed into him the breath of life. How can dust come to life? Both are just as impossible but true. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH JESUS.

Mark 10:27 “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”

The life of the Bible includes its ability to penetrate the spirit and soul and thoughts and intents of the hearts of those who read it!

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

1st Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man (THOSE WHO ARE FAKE CHRISTIANS AND ATHEISTS, ETC) receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

The Bible is full of insight into the human condition that is just as true today as when it was written. Forget college, read Proverbs for unlimited wisdom from Above.

James 3:15-17 “This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”

The accuracy of the Bible is perfect. Jesus fulfilling just 8 prophesies (He fulfilled over 300) is impossible to man. You don’t have a calculator that can calculate those odds… See here… The Bible isn’t a history or geography book, but it surely contains historical and geographical details. No factual data from the Bible has ever been disproved by historians or archaeologists. To the contrary, discoveries continue to validate facts in the Bible once thought to be wrong by wicked secular “scholars”. Numerous scientific observations have been confirmed in biblical passages, including Leviticus 17:11; Ecclesiastes 1:6-7; Job 36:27-29; Psalm 102:25-27 and Colossians 1:16-17.

The values and truths of the Bible are timeless. Many say certain biblical teachings are archaic yet they give absolutely no Bible verses for rejecting the truth of the Bible other than their personal opinions and worldly feelings. Those who reject the clear teachings of the Bible (The Living Word) as irrelevant say the Bible no longer fits our culture. On the contrary, our culture has rejected the clear and timeless principles of the Bible.

Scripture will never be irrelevant because it addresses the universal need of all people—to know God, to experience forgiveness, and to know how the Lord would have us to live, holy and righteous. Times may change, but God’s Word does not. In it we find principles that change our lives still today. GOD NEVER CHANGES AND NEVER WILL.

To conclude, if these verses don’t ring true in your life, you need to repent and get right with a Holy God.

Luke 12:51-53 “Suppose ye that I (JESUS) am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather DIVISION: 52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.”

Matthew 10:34-36″ Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes(ENEMIES) shall be they of his own household.”
