The Accuser of the Brethren and Division

1Co 1:10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

To cause divisions amongst the bretheren is a serious offense! Not taken lightly by the Lord! It must be rebuked immediately! When you see someone in sin you must call them to righteousness or you do not love them. If you see someone drunk, having sex outside of marriage, lying, choosing homosexuality, etc you must call them to repentance or their blood is on YOUR hands. They may not have tomorrow! The false love, hyper-grace, all accepting, tolerant gospel that is being preached by most is abominable. This is exactly why Jesus says “Few will enter”.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren(the devil) is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

But it also doesn’t mean we are to agree with every wind of doctrine, and refuse to expose doctrinal error when we see it!

There are some things true brethren can agree to disagree on, but when it comes to sound doctrine, such as repentance, faith, holiness, as well as exposing all the reformed errors plaguing the church system today, we need to stand strong against them!

To know there is great error, and allow your friends to remain under them, since they said a few positive things is just plain foolish, and shown a lack of love for the truth. That is NOT walking in the Spirit of God!

Many will say, keep it simple, let’s just get along and love, keep the unity, and don’t be divisive, but this is not the gospel according to truth and godliness! What does the bible say about TRUE Christians?

Mat_10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Mat_24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
Mar_13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Luk_19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
Luk_21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
Joh_15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh_15:25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
Joh_17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

How about this truth that even in the IMMEDIATE family unit there will be your own ENEMIES! Why, because when one comes to the light the people in darkness will be in revolt as they are not walking in the spirit!

Luk 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
Luk 12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
Luk 12:53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Luk 12:54 And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
Luk 12:55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
Luk 12:56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
Luk 12:57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

When I see error, I will expose it, and I hope a true brother or sister of mine would do the same for me, it’s not popular to do, but a command from God to keep His word and truth pure and undefiled from the teachings of men! Remember, their blood will be on your hands if you don’t.

Eze 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Eze 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Eze 3:20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Eze 3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

You can preach all you want against sin, and say you must live a holy life etc., but undermine it all when you refuse to totally forsake the leaven added into the pure word by Augustine, and all the reformers who followed Him, some were staunch holiness preachers, or Calvinists, and were and are well accepted today by the vast majority of those in the organized church and those who have come out.

But those who truly stand firm in the apostolic doctrines followed by the early church and Christ Himself, will be totally misunderstood today, as they refuse to compromise with the popular crowds who think they have the truth, but compromise with false teachers and false teachings, saying all is well, let’s just trust God, and let the spirit work it all out.

But sad to say most of these people are void of the spirit of truth, filled with the spirit of error, as they simply compromise the word of God, casting aspersions on the few who come to correct them out of love for their souls, and also love for the truth we are commanded to uphold to the bitter end!

Jud 1:3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

To contend earnestly, one must be grounded in the truth, and be willing with an open and honest heart to seek the truth when presented to them, otherwise you will be open to the spirit of error, and the strong delusion God promised to send to those who love not the truth!

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
