The Anglican/Episcopalian Religion is straight out of the pits of hell. They teach that performing the seven sacraments are absolutely essential to go to heaven, nowhere is this found in the bible so they immediately fall under condemnation.

Statistics – The Episcopal Church is the American Counterpart of the Church of England or Anglican Church of England. There are 75 million worldwide and 2.3 million in the USA, with the Episcopal Church being formed in America in 1789 in Philadelphia. Membership is on the decline, with a 28% since 1965. Headquarters in America is in New York for the Episcopal Church.
Background and Formation
This church was formed in 1534 when it broke away from the Anglican Church over the matter of a king who wanted to divorce his wife and the pope wouldn’t let him! As church historian A. A. Davis notes – “There does not seem to have been any doctrinal matter involved at all when the Church of England was born.”
Luther objected to the doctrines and the practices of Rome, but the Church of England seems to have come about purely by accident. King Henry VIII of England had become dissatisfied with one of his wives, and incidentally he only had six of them.
Henry VIII “Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.” He divorced the first one; he beheaded the second one; the third one was fortunate to die a natural death; the fourth one he divorced; the fifth one he beheaded; but, the sixth one outlived him. He had fallen in love with beautiful Anne Boleyn. He wanted a divorce from Katherine.
The wicked pope claimed the right, as he has until this day, as supreme authority in domestic affairs. When the prime minister chided the king regarding his desires, and the pope would not grant him a divorce, Thomas Cromwell said to him: “You are the King of England . Why don’t you just write a letter to the pope, and in your own way, tell him to go jump in the lake, then organize a church of your own; write yourself a bill of divorcement, go marry the woman of your choice.” He said it was a pretty good idea. That is just about what happened in history. He wanted another wife and he got her. And the world got another church. Wicked doctrine of men!

The Episcopal Church is facing incredible struggles with liberalism within its ranks. Most no longer believe the Bible to be God’s inerrant word, and many church leaders do not believe in the Deity of Christ.

HOW ARE ANGLICANS/EPISCOPALIANS SAVED? HERESY!
The Episcopal Church believes in a Sacramental Salvation.
The Episcopal Church believes, like Roman Catholicism, in a “sacramental” salvation. It is taught that salvation is achieved by performing the 7 sacraments, beginning with baptism as an infant, then confirmation, Eucharist, penance, holy orders, matrimony, and unction. Unlike most other Protestant Churches which believe the elements of the common service (grapejuice or wine, and bread) are merely symbolic, the Episcopal Church believes in the real presence of Christ in these elements. Infant Baptism – FALSE!
The Anglican Church practices infant baptism, teaching that infants receive the Holy Spirit and are regenerated through baptism. Baptism is by pouring, sprinkling, or immersion. Baptism, as one of the Sacraments and channels of grace is necessary for salvation in the Episcopal Church. “The 39 Articles allow for teaching baptismal regeneration” Religious Bodies of America (pg. 290)
One must reach the age where they can make a conscience decision to repent in Godly sorrow to be saved, then endure ‘til the end. Infant baptism is NOWHERE in the bible! Again, adding to the word! We must REPENT 1st, BELIEVE then get baptised!

Lord’s Supper done WRONG!
The ‘Real Prescence’ of Christ is spiritually present in the elements. This is known as ‘Consubstantian’, in contrast to Roman Catholic’s Transubstantiation.

Episcopal Church Government – MANMADE TRADITIONS!
Anglican church government is the Episcopal system – the local church is governed by outside control through a hierarchy of priests and bishops. The highest Anglican bishop is called the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Episcopal Church has Nuns and Monks like Catholicism has (Mead pg. 135)

Women Priests – HERESY!
As of 1993, 17 of the 30 independent Anglican communions around the world had approved ordination of women priests. The Episcopal Church in the United States has been ordaining women priests since 1976, and ordained the first female bishop in 1989.

Ritualistic worship and MATERIALISM. WICKED!
The Anglican Church (Episcopal Church) has a highly ritualistic form of worship. Some Episcopal churches are “high”, with elaborate ritual and ceremony; others are described as low, with less involved ceremony and more of an evangelistic emphasis. This has been called the church of beauty, and it is an apt description. Its prayer book is eloquent in the literature of religious worship, containing the heart of both New Testament and Old Testament devotions. Members have built wicked stately cathedrals in the U.S.; the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, the third largest in the world; and the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the national cathedral in Washington, D.C., sometimes called the American Westminster Abbey.
Stained-glass windows, gleaming altars, vested choirs, and a glorious ritual are not only beautiful, but also give the worshiper a deep sense of the continuity of the Christian spirit and tradition. Next to the stress on episocopacy, its liturgical worship is a distinguishing feature, varying in degree according to high-or low-church inclinations. Its roots are in the Church of England and include the reading, recitation, and intonation by priest, people and choir of the historic general confession, general thanksgiving, collects, psalms, and prayers.

Ecumenism – A demonic mix of religions!
For the past two plus decades many Anglican leaders, including the archbishops, have been attempting to reconcile the Church of England with the wicked Roman Catholic Cult. The Episcopal Church is very active in all ecumenical ventures and is a member of both the National Council of Churches and The World Council of Churches.

Oppose Homosexuality?
No. During 2003 a homosexual priest was ordained as Bishop of the Episcopal Church in America. In 1993 a survey revealed that 75% of Episcopalians believed that it is possible for a sexually active homosexuals to be faithful Christians.
Leviticus 18:22-23 — You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion.

Modernism – WAY OF THE WORLD!
The Way of Life Encyclopedia of the Bible and Christianity says on page 20: In this century liberalism has largely taken over the Anglican denomination. A large percentage of its bishops and pastors are modernists who deny the miracles of the Bible. Former Archbishop of Canterbury Robert Runcie illustrates this sad trend. In an interview with a newspaper the editor picked up in London on Easter 1982, Runcie was asked about the meaning of the cross. He replied, “As to that, I am an agnostic.” Runcie was not certain of the meaning of the cross!
In the same interview he said he felt Buddhism is a proper way to God and that Christians should not say that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Anglican bishop David Jenkins openly questions every major teaching of the Bible. Of Christ’s resurrection, this Church of England bishop says, “ The Christian is not bound up with freak biology or corpses getting up and walking around.” Of Chris’s virgin birth, Jenkins says, “As for the virgin birth, they’re the sort of stories that get told after you already believe somebody is very important. You don’t have to believe in the virgin birth…..”
ONE WAY TO HEAVEN!

XXVII. Of Baptism.
Baptism is not only a sign of profession, and mark of difference, whereby Christian men are discerned from others that be not christened, but it is also a sign of Regeneration or new Birth, whereby, as by an instrument, they that receive Baptism rightly are grafted into the Church: the promises of forgiveness of sin, and of our adoption to be the sons of God by the Holy Ghost, are visibly signed and sealed; Faith is confirmed, and Grace increased by virtue of prayer unto God. The Baptism of young Children is in any wise to be retained in the Church, as most agreeable with the institution of Christ.” (The 39 Articles of Religion of the Anglican Church of Canada from The Book of Common Prayer, 1959, pg. 698-714).
Heresy! Damnable heresy! They state above, “…they that receive Baptism rightly are grafted into the Church: the promises of forgiveness of sin…” There is NOT one verse in the entire Bible that requires a person to be baptized to have their sins forgiven. When Jesus said to the man sick of palsy in Mark 2:5, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee,” He didn’t tell the man to get baptized. Jesus forgave and healed that sick man on the spot, without baptism! How foolish are those unscrupulous Bible teachers who fail to study the Word of God, to understand it’s true meaning. Many people fail to understand Acts 2:38.
No one in the Old Testament was ever required to be baptized; but rather, we read in Genesis 15:6 that Abraham “believed God” and it was counted unto him for righteousness. By obedience to HIS word and repenting in Godly sorrow we are saved. Romans 4:5 plainly states, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” What is there not to understand? You’d better forget, and forsake, the 39 articles of the Anglican faith, and rather obey the Word of God! In fact, there is a Scripture which tells us exactly that in Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar…” Men are liars, who tell you that you must be baptized in order to be saved. The entire purpose of 1st John being written, according to 1st John 5:13, was so that we could know that we have eternal life if we endure ‘til the end… “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” Carefully notice–NO MENTION is ever made of being baptized. In fact, the words “baptize,” “baptism,” or “baptized” is NOT mentioned in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd John. If baptism were necessary for salvation, surely the Apostle John would have mentioned it.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mar 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
If you are in this false religion, repent and do the 1st works!
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Anglicanism is Humanism, Not Christianity
The problem with the Church of England is that it no longer promotes Christianity. Humanism has taken its place.
Just to cite a mere handful of examples:
- Homosexuality is condoned instead of being condemned as the Bible does (Lev 18:22; 20:13; Rom 1:27; Eph 5:3). We don’t condemn the homosexual, because he can get help to overcome his deviancy. We condemn the sin, not the sinner. That is the biblical position, but it is not the position which the C of E has adopted and over which the church is being split.
- On the Church of England’s website there is an apology to Charles Darwin for “misunderstanding” him. Apparently, the church now wants to distance itself from fundamentalists who believe the biblical account, and prefers to accept a human theory, unproven and untrue. (Because God’s Word reveals what is true, though many misunderstand what God means in Genesis, and elsewhere in the Bible. MM’s booklet Gems From Genesis explains more about the symbols employed in Genesis.)
- On Islam, the church calls “for an alliance between the two faiths for ‘the common good’.” (Daily Mail, p 10, 16 July 2008.) But the Word of God states categorically that “there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12), other than that of Jesus, Saviour of the world. All the window-dressing of Islam is a sham. Islam lacks divine power, and Spirit, and truth of God. It is merely a human religion, demonically inspired and demonically used to undermine Christianity. - Ecumenical and inter-faith movements are supported by the C of E, despite God’s clear warnings in the Bible to have nothing to do with religious falsity (Deut 12:30-31). God says, “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it” (Deut 12:32). This principle is repeated in Revelation 22:18-19 under threat of forfeiture of eternal life! The C of E cares less about what God says than making overtures to men, no matter how deceived they are!
The list could go on and on of instances where men in the Church of England who claim to represent God and uphold His Word are doing nothing of the sort!
Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit (Matt 12:33).
The above should be sufficient to show that the Anglican Church, the Church of England tree is bad!
Jesus’ castigation of the religious leaders of His time is as apt in our day:
Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matt 12:34).

Dr Rowan Williams becomes an Eisteddfod ‘druid’
The new Archbishop of Canterbury has been inducted as a druid in a centuries-old Celtic ceremony.
Dr Williams became a member of the highest of the three orders of the Gorsedd of Bards – a 1,300-strong circle of Wales’ key cultural contributors – in a ceremony at this year’s National Eisteddfod celebration of Welsh culture in St Davids, Pembrokeshire.
Dr Williams, 52, wore a long white cloak without any head-dress as he arrived at the back of the procession.
Should a Minister of God Be Addressed as ‘Reverend’ (Matthew 23:8-11)? NEVER!!!
Respect or Respect of Persons?
When we look into the Bible, we find the word “reverend” refers only to God Himself, and not once is it applied to a man. The lone instance of the word, found in Psalm 111:9 in the King James version, says: “He [God] sent redemption unto His people: He hath commanded His covenant for ever: holy and reverend is His name.” God alone has a name worthy of reverence. No man, including any minister, has a name worthy of such respect or worship.
The use of religious titles, such as “Reverend,” began when the great apostasy set in at the close of the first century. Ministers put themselves “in the place of” Christ (the meaning of vicar), taking upon themselves the attributes and titles of divinity. God’s true ministers have never done so.
Notice the instruction of Jesus Christ in Matthew 23:8-11: “But you [Christ’s disciples], do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Our Savior commands that those He calls to serve the brethren of the church should not take upon themselves titles that arrogate God and Christ’s own titles and positions, such as “Teacher” and “Father.” Instead, as servants and brothers, ministers should live and work in humility as servants of God.
Freemasonry
Rowan Williams apologises to Freemasons and Endorses Freemasonry.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, has been forced to apologise to Britain’s 330,000 Freemasons after he said that their beliefs were incompatible with Christianity and that he had rejected them from senior posts in his diocese.
“The Archbishop apologises for the ‘distress’ he caused and discloses that his own father was a member of the Craft.”
Freemasons, many of whom are active members of the Church of England, reacted angrily to his disclosure that he “had real misgivings about the compatibility of Masonry and Christian profession”.
A spokesman said the Archbishop was worried about the ritual element of Freemasonry, which has been seen as “satanically inspired”. [It is! – MM.]
“He claims that his views were never meant to be public and were distorted by the media.”
He added: “The quoted statements about the ‘satanic’ character of the Masonic ceremonies and other matters did not come from me and do not represent my judgment. Since my late father was a member of the Craft for many years, I have had every opportunity of observing the probity of individual members.”
Dr Williams does not, in his letter, deny that he has misgivings about the role of Freemasons within the Church.
He wrote: “Where anxieties exist, however, they are in relation not to Freemasonry but to Christian ministers subscribing to what could be and often is understood [or misunderstood] as a private system of profession and initiation, involving the taking of oaths of loyalty.”
Homosexuality
Archbishop Rowan Williams Strongly Pro-Homosexual
The Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, is strongly pro-homosexual. But he is equally strongly a Church conservative in terms of Church order.
He strongly favors the approval of homosexuality, but equally strongly insists that the homosexualists must wait until the Church at large approves such a lifestyle. That puts him in direct conflict with the realities of Christian faith.
He is going to get shot at from both sides.
He argues that there is more to homosexuality than Romans 1, the passage most frequently cited by evangelicals where St Paul attacks the “unseemly” passions of men with men.
Dr Williams goes on to set out a possible case for active same-sex relationships by arguing that revisionists who support “sexual expression” for homosexuals may, like evangelicals, be trying to be faithful to the Bible.

Dr Williams says that there are plenty of homosexual Christians who do not recognise themselves in Romans 1, where St Paul condemns a society where “God gave them up unto vile affections”, where women turned to lesbian love and “the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burnt in their lust one toward another”.
Archbishop sparks row after holding secret communion for gay clergy
A row erupted yesterday after it emerged the Archbishop of Canterbury kept the details of a communion service for gay clergy so secret that he failed to inform the Bishop of London it was taking place in his diocese.
Dr Rowan Williams reignited the row that is causing divisions within the Anglican Church after agreeing to hold a Eucharist for homosexual, lesbian, bisexual and transgender clergy.
Details of the service, attended by around 100 people, emerged yesterday, with the Archbishop said to have spoken openly about the future for gay people in the church.

The Archbishop, Rowan Williams is a nice man. But human respectability hides many demons. Jesus once castigated Peter for his satanic motivation (Matt 16:23). Equally Jesus reproves churchmen today! Not that they listen.
Rowan Williams is a man-pleaser, and tries to be a diplomat. You can’t be a diplomat AND live by the Word of God. The two are incompatible. God says what is right, just and true. Ours is to obey it, not compromise it! Christians are to fear and obey God, not man (Acts 5:29).
The doctrine of the Anglican Church is a demonic mix of Catholicism and Protestant Reformation theology. Interestingly, the church does not require individuals to agree with or accept all the statements of those creeds but encourages its members to join in the process of discovery. The 39 Articles, developed in the reign of Elizabeth I, laid out the Protestant doctrine and practice of the Anglican Church, but were deliberately written to be so vague that they were open to various interpretations by Protestants and Catholics. As in the Catholic Church, the celebration of the Eucharist is central to the worship service, along with the communal offering of prayer and praise through the recitation of the liturgy. In all liturgical churches, there is a danger of allowing the form of religious ceremony (Isaiah 29:13) to replace the personal application of faith (Psalm 51:16-17). This was a key point of contention by the Puritans and others who ultimately left the Anglican Church.
