Do You Believe – Biblically?
The word “Believeth” is translated in the Bible three ways (we will go to the original Greek). First, we will explain the fact that is means “TO OBEY”. The false professing “christian” does not believe as the Bible commands and they hate this definition.
Luke 17:26 “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.”
Matthew 7:21-23 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Revelation 3:16 “So then because thou art LUKEWARM, and neither cold nor hot, I will SPUE THEE OUT OF MY MOUTH.”
John 3:36 “He that believeth (G4100) on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth (G569) not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
G569 = ἀπιστέω apisteō [ap-is-teh’-o] From G571; to be unbelieving, that is, (transitively) disbelieve, or (by implication) disobey: – believe not. Total KJV occurrences: 7
The Word “Believeth not” means:
G4100= πιστεύω pisteuō [pist-yoo’-o] From G4102; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being to Christ): – believe (-r), COMMIT (to trust), put in trust with. Total KJV occurrences: 248
to habitually believe in;
to habitually place one’s confidence in;
to habitually trust in;
to habitually rely upon;
to habitually entrust oneself to;
to cling to;
to abide
to habitate;
to habitually commit oneself to.
In the context of salvation, it means “to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ with the kind or quality of belief that keeps on believing.” TO OBEY CONTINUALLY.
The word “believeth” appears in the King James Version New Testament Bible a total of 32 verses (38 individual times). In nearly all of these cases, it is translated from the Greek verb “pisteuo.” This present tense verb does not refer to a one-time spiritual action (a one-time declaration aka a “sinners prayer”), but to a continual or habitual spiritual action.”

John 3:16-21 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light (JESUS) is come into the world, and men loved darkness (SIN) rather than light, because THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL (YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY YOUR WORKS/OBEDIENCE/FAITH). 20 For every one that (SINS) doeth evil hateth (JESUS) the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But HE THAT DOETH TRUTH cometh to the light, that his DEEDS may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
Another use of “believeth not” is seen in:
1st Corinthians 7:12-13 “But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not (G571), and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away 13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not (G571), and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.”
G571 = ἄπιστος apistos [ap’-is-tos] From G1 (as a negative particle) and G4103; (actively) disbelieving, that is, without Christian faith (specifically a heathen); (passively) untrustworthy (person), or incredible (thing): – that believeth not, faithless, incredible thing, infidel, unbeliever (-ing). Total KJV occurrences: 23
ONE MUST EXHAUST EVERY REASONABLE EFFORT TO SAVE THEIR UNBELIEVING SPOUSE

What I just exhorted you with is true love:
Acts 20:26-27 “Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.”YOU CAN’T MAKE YOUR OWN RULES AS SO MANY TRY TO DO YOU ADD TO HIS WORD YOU RECEIVE ALL THE PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE HOLY BIBLE… YOU TAKE AWAY YOUR NAME IS ERASED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE!
Revelation 22:18-19 “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD unto these things, God shall add unto him the PLAGUES that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall TAKE AWAY HIS PART OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, AND OUT OF THE HOLY CITY, and from the things which are written in this book.”
THERE MUST BE A FALLING AWAY FIRST

let him be ACCURSED.”
