Become as Little Children!
You need to be a child of King Jesus, not a false denomination. Let’s see the love Jesus has for children and why He uses their example:
Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Mar 10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Luk 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Mat 18:3 And Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
CONVERTED, pp.{ Turned or changed from one substance or state to another; turned form one religion or sect to another; changed from a state of sin to a state of holiness; applied to a particular use; appropriated}.
This one profound statement from the mouth of God really sums up what it means to be a true follower of Christ!
This conversion can only come from the clearing that is produced when one truly humbles himself, repents and presents themselves as pure as the little children who are NOT born sinners, totally depraved and corrupt as many teach today.
This conversion has consequences as stated by Jesus, as He uses the word except (meaning taken out, not included) which then leaves a choice He cannot make for you, or did for you at one time in history. Jesus finished His work on the cross, not time for you to do your part and pick up YOUR cross.
These “little children” Jesus is talking about gives us a good example of what true heart purity and innocence is all about, these young children are still pure in heart, mind, and soul, innocent of any willful acts of disobedience before God, and humble and contrite in heart as they depend strongly on their master to lead them, and mold them into who He created them to be.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
This humility can only come from a truly converted soul, as he FORSAKES HIS SINS before God, and seeks His mercy, it must be complete and real, where the flesh that once ruled their life is now put to death and crucified with Christ once and for all, through the process of repentance.
Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Now brought back in reality to the innocence of a little child, delivered by the precious blood of Christ, from the dark to the light, and from the power of satan to the power of God!
Then you are Heirs with Christ (Children of God)
Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
