Touch Not Mine Anointed: One of the Lamest Defenses of Fraudulent Preachers

Though it is absolutely dangerous to attack and slander a genuine servant of the true God, one person you can be sure is not one of those is the preacher who says “Touch not mine anointed” in relation to himself.  When used in this way, it is just a lame phrase which deceitful preachers use to defend themselves because they fear being exposed as the frauds which they really are.  It is a pathetic intimidation tactic which employs the use of a Bible phrase out of context to manipulate people into not questioning the legitimacy of the preacher.  Genuine servants of Christ do not act like this.

“Touch not mine anointed” was never intended to be used by fools to defend their immoral behavior and/or the falsehood which they preach.  Just because someone preaches with a Bible in their hand doesn’t make them legitimate.  Yet use of intimidation tactics, manipulation, shaming people for honest criticism (and such shaming is a form of false accusation and slander), lack of accountability, and overall considering themselves themselves to be above the law do indeed prove someone to be a servant of the devil (and to an extreme when one is also preaching from the Bible).  The Bible warns that the tree is known by its fruit and that those who commit sin are of the devil.  Yet the wolf in sheep’s clothing will look for ways to keep up the scheme and protect itself when it is being exposed.

Let’s look at the context of the phrase “touch not mine anointed” when it is used in Psalm 105.  Before that, note that obedient believers in Jesus Christ are the remnant of Israel and the spiritual seed of Abraham which the Lord recognizes as His own (Galatians chapter 3 proves this beyond any doubt)- not the modern nation of Israel whose Christ-rejecting inhabitants were kicked out of the land centuries after Psalm 105 was written.  Jews who reject Christ have only re-entered the land relatively recently with no honest legal basis to do so before both God and men.  The fraud preachers being rebuked here are also highly likely to be supporters of modern Israel since, as an entity, it is one of the biggest frauds ever,  The two groups are natural candidates to be collaborators in sin.

Psalm 105:6-15: “ O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.  He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.  He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.  Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.  When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”

In the Bible it was the Lord Himself who said “Touch not mine anointed” concerning righteous people whom He commended and saw fit to go out of His way to defend.  Anyone who uses the phrase concerning themselves is a liar who is twisting the Bible.
