The Old Testament is No Less Critical of Jews than the New Testament is
Not even a Jew who witnesses against the evils of the Jewish people will be spared from charges of hatred towards them. This has been true from ancient times- even going back well before the New Testament was written to the times in which the Hebrew Bible (aka: the Old Testament) was written. One striking example of this is seen in Jeremiah chapter 26 when Jeremiah was almost killed in the court of the Temple for simply warning that God would destroy the Temple and make Jerusalem a curse if the Jews did not amend their ways and doings to be obedient to God’s law.
The Jews were notorious even in the times of the Old Testament Prophets for going after Pagan gods..
Amos 5:25-26: “Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.” (Note also that this star of Moloch may very well be the symbol on Israel’s flag today. That symbol is a satanic, Pagan symbol anyways- it’s not really the star of David).
Jeremiah 11:9-11: “And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.”
God also frequently rebuked the Jews for being sexually immoral in the Old Testament (see Jeremiah 5:7-9 and Amos 2:4-8 among many examples).
The Jews were also rebuked through the Prophet Jeremiah for being a covetous people which slanders (see Jeremiah 6:10-17 and Jeremiah 6:28). The plotting, scheming, conspiratorial character of wicked Jews is also pointed out and rebuked in Ezekiel 8:5-18. Note this and remember it when people get called all manner of evil names, and become objects of grievous accusations, when they oppose the modern nation of Israel and/or expose Jewish crime and perversion wherever such occurs.
Didn’t Jesus come to the Jewish people and participate in the nation’s worship? Yes- and He made it clear then that His coming was the Jewish nation’s last chance to repent and bring forth righteous fruit (see His parable in Matthew 21:33-46 where this is stated as plain as anything can be). That is why modern Israel should be rejected and regarded as a curse; and why the Jews should not be recognized as God’s chosen people anymore.
Though the nation’s rejection of Christ was the final straw, the build up of national Israel provoking God’s wrath and anger against it was happening frequently throughout the time of the Old Testament- as well as in the years between Old and New Testament times.
