Do we need to go any further? NO WAY! Denying Jesus is God is as bad as one can get, right? Read on! We will biblically expose this filth as many are steeped in this demonic cult and the truth needs to be told in hopes some repent. SDA teaches that the archangel Michael became Jesus on earth. This is the same demonic doctrine which Jehovah’s Witnesses believe. SDA’s deceitfully claim to believe that Jesus is God, while maintaining that He was also Michael. They can’t have it both ways. There is NOTHING in the Word of God that indicates, even remotely, that Jesus was Michael the archangel. The SDA teaching clearly denies the deity of Jesus Christ and just like those who deny eternal torment in the lake of fire (hell), they will perish right to this horrible place, forever! Interestingly, the most profound figure in SDA, Ellen G. White, openly denied the deity of Jesus Christ, which in fact SDA’s today attempt to lie about and deny. History can be corrupted, but the truth cannot. Ellen G. White denied Jesus’ deity.
SDA teach a series of heresies, such as the unscriptural “Investigative Judgment”, “soul sleep” and that there is no Hell. SDA’s instead errantly believe that the wicked will be annihilated. Let’s note here if you don’t believe there is eternal punishment for sinners in Hell (the Lake of Fire), you will surely end up there as you call The Righteous Judge, Jesus, a liar and deny His loving righteousness. The Bible has much more to say about Hell than Heaven, and repeatedly warns of flaming fire (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9), everlasting fire (Matthew 18:8) and the vengeance of eternal fire (Jude 1:7) for the wicked.
Ellen G. White was deeply involved with the occult and SDA was founded by Freemasons as part of the New World Order’s attempt to deceive the masses into following the Antichrist. There’s an occult obelisk on White’s grave, showing her allegiance to the New World Order, just as Charles Russell (who founded the Jehovah’s Witnesses false cult) has a giant illuminati pyramid on his grave. Russell showed his blatant support for the New World Order by corrupting the Bible and writing his own. He named it the New World Translation. Truth is stranger than fiction.
All mainstream so-called “Christian” religions were started by 33rd degree Freemasons, including Ron Hubmsbard(founder of Scientology), Taze Russell(In 1881, Russell founded Zion’s Watch Tower Tract Society, the predecessor to the JW cult), Joseph Smith (founder of the Mormons) and many others. The Christian Scientist false religion and Oral Roberts were also involved with the occult. As shocking as it may be, the Freemasonry demonic occult is largely composed of Southern Baptists, who are also a part of the New World Order. Let’s focus on the biblical facts.
The Beginning
In 1782 William Miller was born on the east coast of the United States. As a young man he was a farmer and during the war of 1812, he served as a captain in the American armed forces. In 1833 he was licensed to preach by a Baptist church but was never “ordained”(by those devils). After having studied the Bible for two years, in 1818 Miller announced to the world that in 25 years (March 1844) Jesus Christ would return to the earth. At the height of his ministry, Miller had gathered some 50,000 followers, who had also become known as “Adventists.” When March 1844 came and went with no sign of Jesus Christ having returned, Miller recalculated the new date to October 22, 1844. When Jesus did not return on October 22, 1844, the entire Millerite movement collapsed as his followers’ “Christian” misguided faith were destroyed. Miller revamped his doctrine to say that Christ had indeed returned, but that Miller had not understood that Christ first had to come to the “Heavenly Sanctuary,” which He is now busy cleaning. Once Jesus has cleansed things up in heaven, He would be coming back to the earth.
The remnant that bought into this lie formed the Advent Church and in 1845 William Miller became its first president. The name was later changed to Seventh Day Adventists and after the death of Miller in 1849 a new false prophet came on the scene, this time a woman, Ellen G. White. At the age of 13, Ellen was taken to a meeting where William Miller spoke and was converted to the Adventist faith. During the month of December, 1844, Ellen was holding a prayer meeting in which she had a vision and felt that she was transported to heaven and shown that Christ could not come back to the earth until the Great Commission has been fulfilled. This revelation was later going to be mixed in with the teaching that Christ had come back in 1844, but that He stopped in the heaven sanctuary to first clean that up. Thus, like with so many other false movements, the leaders in the Advents movement had to cover up for the false prophecy of William Miller.
On August 30, 1846 Ellen married James White, who had been ordained into the Adventist church in 1843. Her ascension as a “prophetess” in the Seventh Day Adventist Church had now begun. During her years as the “seer” for the SDA church, she prophesied a number of predictions, which did not come true. One of the most blatant false prophecies she made was when she predicted before the American Civil war, that the Union would not be preserved but that the United States would be divided, slavery would not be abolished but England would intervene and declare war on the United States. Any student of history knows differently. But, like so many other false movements, these failed prophecies are swept under the rug and most Seventh Day Adventists today do not even know about them.
Like so many other cults, the doctrine of the SDA church evolved with time. The doctrine of Saturday as the Sabbath was not preached by William Miller, but came in later. Neither did Miller preach and believe in vegetarianism.
The teaching of vegetarianism came from the Whites. In 1864, Ellen’s husband became ill and Ellen nursed him back to health. After his recovery, James and Ellen began to think about food and eating habits. Since just a practical experience would not do the job of changing the theology of the SDA church, Ellen had a “convenient” vision from the Lord, and vegetarianism was now introduced to the church as a “THUS SAYS THE LORD.” In 1866 the Western Health Reform Institute was founded at Battle Creek, Michigan. Despite the new vegetarian diet, James White died in 1881 at 60 years old. “…he who is weak in faith eats vegetables only…” (Romans 14:2). These SDA devils are however not weak in faith, the deny it completely and serve the devil!
With the collapse of Miller’s prediction that Christ would return in 1844, the movement needed a cause in order to survive. After the damage control had been completed and the SDA spin doctors had cured the disease, it was time for the SDA leadership to hammer out some kind of “theology” that could be used to attract new converts to their fold.
Ellen was always writing for the SDA denominational publications, and wrote a string of books. One well known book and still pushed hard by the SDA members is, “The Great Controversy.” It is important to note that Ellen was a proven plagiarist(LIAR/CHEATER/ROBBER). The explanation of the SDA Church for her plagiarism, that there were no copyright laws back then does not excuse her “borrowing”.
SDA’s often make every effort to appear “evangelical”, joining in with inter-ministry groups and trying to “blend in” with the Christian community. However, make no mistake about it, they believe they are exclusively correct because they recognize and follow Ellen G. White. Among themselves, they mock the Christian’s beliefs, calling our concept of salvation, “cheap grace”. They privately consider themselves to be spiritually superior to the rest of us.
The SDA Church made this statement in their “Ministry” magazine of October 1981 and has never retracted it:
“We believe the revelation and inspiration of both the Bible and Ellen White’s writings to be of equal quality. The superintendence of the Holy Spirit was just as careful and thorough in one case as in the other.”
Cult Beliefs
Great emphasis is laid upon the teaching that the Sabbath day is on Saturday, and if a person does not keep Saturday as Sabbath, he cannot be saved. Ultimately, according to SDA theology, your salvation in the last days boils down to the day you worship on. Simply put, they believe there is no salvation outside the SDA church. Heresy! They believe that in the last days just before Christ returns, only those worshipping on Saturday will be saved.. They particularly believe that worshipping on Sunday will be the mark of the beast. They consider themselves to be the only true, remnant church and all others will be condemned in time. This is accursed (Galatians 1:9-9) man-made doctrine not found in the Bible.
Ellen G. White taught, similar to the Catholic cult, that all other churches except the SDA church were teaching lies from the Devil. Only SDA members are true and obedient believers; prayers spoken in other churches are only answered by the Devil. This is a man-made doctrine not found in the Bible.
They firmly believe that Jesus is Michael the Archangel and this is the name used for him (Jesus) in the Old Testament; yet also believe that Jesus is God. Jesus is God, he is the Creator; (John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 1:1-6) whereas, Michael is just an angel, a created being. What does the Word of God say about the double minded? James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. If you believe the SDA heresy, please repent. James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
They believe in the “sanctuary teaching” that Jesus is now cleaning the sanctuary in the heavens before he can return to the earth. This is a man-made doctrine not found in the Bible. What happens to people who add and take away from the Holy Scriptures?
They believe you will have to stand in the presence of the living God for judgment without a mediator. The Bible says that there is one mediator between God and men, and that is Jesus himself. 1 Timothy 2:5. Just as bad as the catholics with the blasphemous “Mary mediatrix” heresy!
They won’t tell you that early Adventists expected the literal second coming of Christ in 1843 and 1844 only to be disappointed. They won’t tell you that their 1844 “investigative judgment” teaching was born out of an attempt to cover over this false prophecy. Instead of repenting over this false date, they believe that Christ really came, but INVISIBLY in heaven.
They believe the doctrine of soul sleeping, which states that the souls of believers in Christ are not in heaven, but are sleeping in the graves. The Bible says those who were saved on earth by receiving Jesus Christ as their Saviour and died are now living a full and joyous life in heaven. Revelation 7:9-17

The white robes in Revelation 7:14 cannot mean the (imputed) righteousness of Christ, for this cannot be washed and made white in his own blood. This white linen is said to be the righteousness of the saints, Rev 19:8 “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints”, and this is the righteousness in which they stand before the throne; therefore it is not Christ’s righteousness, but it is a righteousness wrought in them by their obedience & by the merit of his blood, and the power of his Spirit.
They believe you should revere their founding “prophetess”, Ellen G. White, viewing her as having the “spirit of prophecy” referred to in the book of Revelation. Ellen G. White’s writing are considered as inspired as the Bible and are used as a authoritative source of truth. In spite of revering her, they won’t ordain women as ministers. Ellen was a proven plagiarist and therefore a filthy liar. God’s attributes are truth and light (I John 1:5-6), whereas, Satan’s attributes are darkness and lying (John 8:44).
Seventh-day Adventists teach the following about the Ellen White:
1. Ellen G. White plays a central role in the SDA Church. One of the “27 Fundamental Beliefs” of the SDA Church is that Ellen White manifested the gift of prophecy and her writings are “authoritative” for the Adventist Church:
“18. The Gift of Prophecy: One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy. This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen. G. White. As the Lord’s messenger, her writings are a continuing and authoritative source of truth which provide for the church comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction. They also make clear that the Bible is the standard by which all teaching and experience must be tested. (Joel 2:28, 29; Acts 2:14-21; Heb. 1:1-3; Rev. 12:17; 19:10.)”
Adventists have two “inspired” sources of truth: The Bible and the writings of Ellen G. White, which they refer to as the Spirit of Prophecy. Adventists say that the Bible is their primary source of guidance. It is called the “greater light”. As recently as 2005, the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists reaffirmed in a statement entitled “Resolution on the Spirit of Prophecy” that Mrs. White’s writings contain “divine counsel” and are a source of “guidance, instruction, correction” for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mrs. White’s writings, although much more voluminous than the Bible writings, are referred to as the “lesser light”.
2. Revelation 12:17 provides two identifying marks of the true remnant church in the last days:
- They keep the “Commandments of God”, including the fourth commandment to keep the Sabbath holy.
- They have the “faith of Jesus” which Revelation 19:10 identifies as the “Spirit of Prophecy”.
The Spirit of Prophecy was manifested in the life and writings of Ellen G. White. Therefore, the SDA Church is the only church that has the identifying marks of the remnant church of Revelation.
“The Bible assures us that the gift of prophecy will be active in the last days of this earth’s history. It says the church will possess all the spiritual gifts, including the “testimony of Jesus,” which is the “spirit of prophecy,”or the gift of prophecy (1 Cor. 1:4-47; Rev. 12:17; 19:10)
“Seventh-day Adventists believe that the gift of prophecy was manifested in the life and work of Ellen G. White, one of the early leaders of the church.”2
Baptisimal candidates in the SDA Church must pledge allegiance to the belief that the “gift of prophecy” is an identifying mark of the remnant church:
“I accept the Biblical teaching of spiritual gifts, and believe that the gift of prophecy is one of the identifying marks of the remnant church. … I accept that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the remnant church of Bible prophecy.”3
3. According to Adventist leaders, the writings of Ellen G. White are “inspired” by the Holy Spirit in the same way as the Biblical authors were inspired.
ADVENTIST REVIEW: “As Samuel was a prophet to Israel in his day, as Jeremiah was a prophet to Israel in the day of captivity, as John the Baptist came as a special messenger of the Lord to prepare the way of Christ’s appearing, so we believe that Mrs. White was a prophet to the church of Christ today. And the same as the messages of the prophets were received in old days, so her messages should be received at present times.”4
RON GRAYBILL (Associate Secretary of the Ellen G. White Estate): “The quality of inspiration of Ellen White is equal to that of the Bible writers…”5
KENNETH WOOD (Editor of Review): “Ellen G. White was inspired in the same sense as were the Bible prophets.”6
DON NEUFELD (Associate editor of Review): “She was inspired by God as were the Biblical writers…”7
ROBERT OLSON (Secretary of the Ellen G. White Estate): “I believe that both Ellen G. White and the Apostle Paul were true prophets who wrote under the influence of the Holy Spirit. My reason for believing in the inspiration of one is identical with my reason for believing in the inspiration of the other.”8
MINISTRY MAGAZINE: “We believe the revelation and inspiration of both the Bible and Ellen White’s writings to be of equal quality. The superintendence of the Holy Spirit was just as careful and thorough in one case as in the other.”9
Mrs. White referred to her own writings as the “Spirit of Prophecy” and taught that they were inspired:
“The Holy Ghost is the Author of the Scriptures and of the Spirit of Prophecy.”10
Seventh Day Adventism (SDA) totally denies the reality of Hell, even calling it a cruel hoax and demonizing fundamental Gospel preachers who still preach the inspired Word of God faithfully. True Christians must call out these (Galatians 1:8-9) ministers of satan as commanded contending for the Christian faith (Jude 1:3). If the shoe fits, wear it! 2nd Corinthians 11:6, “But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things.”
In “THE GREAT HOPE” by Ellen G. White, she errantly and foolishly states on page 28: “The heresy of Eternal Torment
Untold evil has come from the heresy of eternal torment. It takes the religion of the Bible, so full of love and goodness, darkens it by superstition and clothes it with terror. Satan has painted the character of God in false colors, making people fear, dread, and even hate our merciful Creator. The repulsive views of God that have spread over the world from the teachings of the pulpit have made millions of people skeptics and unbelievers.
Eternal torment is one of the false doctrines, the wine of abomination (Revelation 14:8, 17:2), which Babylon makes all nations drink. Ministers of Christ accepted this heresy from Rome, just as they received the false sabbath…” SOURCE: Ellen G. SDA’s believe in the final and total annihilation of the wicked, where they will simply cease to exist after the final judgment. This doctrine is in harmony with the wicked Jehovah’s Witnesses. The Bible says they will be cast into the Lake of Fire which is eternal punishment. Revelation 20:12-15
How About The Rich Man and Lazarus in Luke 6:19-31
Luk 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
Luk 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Luk 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Luk 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luk 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luk 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Luk 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Luk 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
Luk 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Luk 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
Luk 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
Luk 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
They do not believe in the eternal punishment of Satan and his fallen angels. They believe that the penalty for sinning against a Holy God is merely annihilation, a wicked doctrine we debunk here. Satan is the scapegoat; the sins of the believers are laid upon him, and he and these sins are finally burned up. The Bible says that Satan and his fallen angels will be cast in the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:10-15
Seventh-Day Adventist Heresy On Hell
Revelation 20:14-15, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
There is a Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) brochure titled, “What the Bible Says about HELL FIRE.” Inside the SDA brochure, it contains the subtitle and information below…
Seven reasons why hell won’t burn eternally:
- Hell burns on the face of the earth, then this earth is recreated as the home of the saved.
- God is just and fair, He punishes lost sinners in proportion to their evil deeds.
- Man is not immortal.
- God is love. You or I would not torture our children forever no matter how disobedient they had been. Are we more loving than God?
- God says the wages of sin is death, not eternal torture.
- God plans to eradicate sin, not immortalize it.
- God plans to destroy the wicked and says so many times in the Bible.

Please notice the word “EVERLASTING” in John 3:16…
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The word “everlasting” is the Greek word aiōnios which means “perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well: – eternal, for ever, everlasting, world (began).” The word perpetualmeans “uninterrupted, ceaseless, continuing forever.”
Now take a look at the exact SAME Greek word used in Matthew 24:41 and 46…
Matthew 25:41 and 46, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels … And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”
Based upon their errant claims in the preceding brochure, SDA’s totally contradict themselves and butcher the Bible by teaching that everlasting is literal is John 3:16 but is not literal in Matthew 25:41,46. What godless hypocrisy! SDA’s accept the everlastingness of everlasting life, but reject the everlastingness of everlasting fire. The same exact Greek word aiōnios is used when speaking of life and fire being EVERLASTING!!! Just as John 3:16 promises EVERLASTING LIFE to those who believe on Christ; so also does Matthew 25:41,46 promise EVERLASTING FIRE and EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT to those who reject Christ.
This simple study of the Greek meaning of the word “everlasting” exposes Seventh-Day Adventists as wicked liars, unscholarly and dangerous false prophets. What do we expect when the bible CLEARLY states a woman is to NEVER TEACH!!!
1Ti 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1Ti 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
1Ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
The Bible warns that “FIRE” and “PUNISHMENT” are perpetual, lasting forever and ever and ever, without end.
SDA’s Teach Heresy There is No Literal Place of Hell
According to SDA’s (in their wicked literature), there is no literal place called “hell.” Instead, SDA’s believe that the mention of “fire” in the Bible refers to the future time when God shall renovate the face of the earth with fire…

Here is what the Bible teaches concerning the future time when God will indeed renovate the face of the earth with fire, and purge all the wickedness from the world. All of Hollywood, art, books, the music industry and the works of mankind will be burnt up completely…
2nd Peter 3:10-12, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”
As true, obedient, holy living born-again Christians (this excludes satanic SDA’s), the measurement of our success in life won’t be measured by how many people are present when we die; but rather, how many people we witnessed to, how “pure & undefiled” our religion was as in James 1:27, how we took care of the “least of these” as commended in Matthew 25:33-46, etc. We know “FEW” will enter Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Many Christians make the foolish mistake of assuming that some SDA’s are saved. No Seventh-Day Adventists are saved if they are following the satanic plan of salvation of SDA.
SDA’s Errantly Teach There is No “Eternal Torment”

And then they provide Romans 6:23 and Ezekiel 18:4 as references. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” SDA’s attempt to use Ezekiel 18:4 to say that the soul dies and is annihilated, that is, unconscious. Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” However, SDA’s are conniving false prophets, deceivers and woefully ignorant of the Scriptures. As you will learn in the following two passages of Scripture (which Adventists fail to mention), there is a “SECOND DEATH” …
Revelation 20:6, “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
As you just read, the holy Bible plainly teaches that there is a literal place of suffering that burns with “FIRE AND BRIMSTONE” (sulfur), which is the “SECOND DEATH.” This is Hell. Again, the same Greek meaning of the word everlasting applies to both eternal life as well as punishment in fire.
The SDA literature that we’ve been analyzing asks the reader, “How long does hellfire burn?” and then answers the question by stating, “Until the wicked are consumed.” SDA’s teach that the second death means annihilation, i.e., ceasing to exist, no longer conscious. In sharp contrast, the Word of God warns the reader that “THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED” …
Mark 9:44, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
Mark 9:46, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”

If SDA’s are correct, then you have nothing to lose. You’ll just burn up. So you might as well like the “amerikan dream”, forget about the orphans and widows, party hardy, fornicate with all the sex partners you want, commit adultery, get drunk, get high, steal and lie, who cares… you’ll just be consumed and cease to exist for your crimes against God and humanity. Adolf Hitler won’t be punished for all eternity, he’ll just burn up and cease to exist if SDA’s are correct. What a fraudulent, damned religion!
SDA’s Foolishly Use Human Reasoning To Deny Eternal Torture in Hell
Their wicked literature continues to blaspheme God’s word…
“God is love. You or I would not torture our children forever no matter how disobedient they had been. Are we more loving than God?”

That is an utterly foolish and dangerous thing to do, that is, defining God with human understanding. Isaiah 55:8-9 teach that God’s thoughts and ways are farther above man’s thoughts and ways as the stars (heavens) are above the earth. The reason why SDA’s attempt to recreate God in their own image, instead of accepting that we are created in God’s image, is because THEY ARE NOT AT ALL SAVED. False prophets do not serve with unconditional love, nor can they, because they do NOT have the Holy Spirit indwelling them. Only a true child of God, who has God’s Spirit living in them, can transfer God’s unconditional love to others. We also must understand, GOD HATES as equally as He loves and it’s perfectly JUST, true Love.
False prophets always have human reasons and motivation for what they do. SDA’s, like the demonic cult of Jehovah’s Witnesses, rely upon human reasoning to form their doctrines. In sharp contrast, Jesus said that He would send the Spirit of truth when He ascended into Heaven, to teach us. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” Many false religions are started by someone who attempts to understand the holy Bible without the presence of the Author (God).
The truth is we are not God, so we cannot fully understand why God would put someone into the Lake of Fire forever. What kind of God would put someone into Hell? A holy, righteous and good God! A good God punishes evil. We cannot completely grasp the reality of eternal damnation in a Lake of Fire because we are not God but we must trust Him 100%! No one ever goes to Hell who doesn’t deserve and choose to go there. Final judgment is as loving as can be and 100% JUST. GOD IS LOVE! 1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for GOD IS LOVE.
Heresies Seventh-day Adventists Won’t Tell You
Seventh-day Adventists won’t tell you they are behind the “Revelation Seminars” they sponsor. They act all” interdenominational” if questioned. Watch out for these SDA outreaches as well: Voice of Prophecy, Faith for Today, It is Written, The Quiet Hour, Amazing Facts etc. They also hide behind Heath oriented shows on the networks, and sponsor stop-smoking clinics etc, all as introductions to Seventh-day Adventism.
Often, the only tip-off that what you are reading originates with them is that it is published by “Pacific Press”. They produce bright and colorful Children’s books, often seen in medical and dental offices, and of course, unsuspecting Church libraries.
They very much want to be perceived as Evangelical Christians, seeking a place on the ministerial fellowships. All this is good PR for them, but what do they really believe?
What facts won’t they tell you?
They won’t tell you that they consider themselves to be the only, true, remnant Church. Their prophetess, Ellen G. White, whom they revere and believe without question has told them that:
“…Satan has taken full possession of the Churches”. (Spiritual Gifts V.l,p.189-90) They also believe our NON-SDA prayers are an “abomination” to God. (Spiritual Gifts, V1 p.190).
That is what they think of you and your church, even if they won’t say it out loud in public, or to your face.
They revere their founding prophetess, Ellen G. White, and made this statement in their “Ministry” Magazine of Oct. 1981 and have never retracted it:
“We believe the revelation and inspiration of both the Bible and Ellen White’s writings to be of equal quality. The superintendence of the Holy Spirit was just as careful and thorough in one case as in the other”.
They won’t tell you too much about Ellen G. White at their public seminars, but their goal is to bring the person attending to the point of conversion and baptism.
Their 2000 baptismal certificate poses questions to which the candidate must answer “yes”. Question 8 says,
“Do you accept the biblical teaching of spiritual gifts and believe that the gift of prophecy is one of the identifying marks of the remnant church”.
If the candidate says “yes” and is baptised, they soon learn that the “gift of prophecy” is Ellen G. White’s writings. Point 13 has them accepting that the SDA Church is the remnant church of Bible Prophecy. They have been baptized into an exclusive group, but they don’t know how exclusive it is, yet!
No doubt they will be urged to avail themselves of a “Clear Word Bible”. This publication of theirs has inserted the words and doctrines of Ellen G. White right into the Bible text, insuring that the person studying it will have the mind of Ellen G. White.
Slowly, but surely, the new SDA will come to believe these extra-biblical doctrines that set the SDA church apart from true Christianity.
Doctrine on Christ
Seventh-day Adventists, in the early days, denied the Trinity, but now they accept it. However, they have “leftovers” from this heresy. Ellen G. White wrote in Patriarchs and Prophets, page 761, “…He (Jesus) was revealed to them as the Angel of Jehovah, the Captain of the Lord’s Host, Michael the Archangel”.
Adventists, you can’t have it both ways! Either Jesus Christ is God, or He is some kind of an Angel. You can’t talk out of both sides of your mouth to try to cover up embarrassing statements by Ellen G. White. They won’t tell you she was wrong – when its “her or the Bible”, she always wins!
Modern Adventists keep sundown Friday to sundown Saturday as the Sabbath, but earlier in their history they kept 6 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Saturday.
The rest of us “Sunday keepers” are doomed to receive the “mark of the beast” and lose our eternal life. (The Spirit of Prophecy V. 4, p. 505). They sure don’t say this at their seminars!
“At the time appointed for the judgement – the close of the 2300 days, in 1844 began the work of investigation and blotting out of sins…both the living and the dead are to be judged “out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works”. (Rev. 20:12).
People are never told at Seminars that if they become SDA’s and are baptized, a recording angel is watching their every move to determine their salvation eventually. EGW issues this warning in The Faith I Live By, page 210,
Where would we all be without Christ as our mediator, EVER making intercession for us?
Christ bore our own sins in his body on the tree according to the Bible. 1 Peter 2:24 says, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree…”.Become a SDA, and it will be Satan who will eventually bear your sins! Ellen G. White wrote,
“…so Christ will place all these sins upon Satan, the originator and instigator of sin…so Satan, bearing the guilt of all the sins which he has caused God’s people to commit, will be for a thousand years confined to the earth, which will then be desolate…”.(The Great Controversy p. 485).
You won’t hear this one at the Seminars! They keep their radical teachings for later.
False Prophecies You Won’t be Told About
Seventh-day Adventism grew despite endorsing a false date for Christ’s return. What a dubious beginning!
Ellen G. White endorsed a false prophecy by William Miller that Christ would return, first in 1843 and then 1844. Miller repented when Christ didn’t show up on his date but Ellen didn’t want to be viewed as a false prophetess for endorsing him through her visions. The idea was concocted by one of her followers that the date was right, but the event was wrong. Ellen eagerly accepted this “out”, and this explanation was offered to explain away the false prophecy:
Christ didn’t come visibly to earth, but He, invisibly, in heaven, changed compartments from the Holy to the Most Holy in 1844 and began the work of “investigative judgment” that we have discussed previously.
This false date and its failure triggered other heresies on the atonement of Christ which continues to this day. Honest-hearted SDA’s who have pointed out the error of the 1844 investigative judgment have been shown the door by their Conference. You sure won’t be told the true history behind the 1844 doctrine by SDA’s!
Embarrassing false prophecies by EGW have been, altered, covered up, and locked up by the SDA’s. You won’t be told about them, but here are a couple.
One false prophecy done in the name of the Lord marks that one as a false prophet (See Deut. chapter 18).
Ellen G. White said people alive in 1856 would be translated at the 2nd coming of Jesus. (Testimonies, V1, p 131,132).
She said in Testimonies for the Church, Volume 1, p. 259, that the United States would be “…humbled into the dust” by England during the Civil War.
No wonder Jesus told us to “Beware of the false prophets”. Time is their enemy. These false prophecies will never be mentioned by the SDA’s.
Cult Links
You won’t be told at the SDA Seminars about the things they have in common with the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons.
SDA’s share their early history with the Jehovah’s Witnesses. An early Adventist, N. H. Barbour co-published with Charles Taze Russell. They had a falling out over (what else?) dates for the end of the world! (1844 and 1874), and parted company.
Both, however, kept heretical doctrines to this day like Jesus being Michael the Archangel, the denial of Hell, and both still advocate soul sleep. Both invented invisible occurrences in heaven for their failed dates for Christ’s visible return, investigative judgment for the SDA’s and Christ’s invisible “presence” for Jehovah’s Witnesses.
There is Mormon link also for the SDA’s. It is a proven fact that Ellen G. White plagiarized most of her writings. The Church has been challenged by Walter Rea, author of the White Lie to prove that even 20% of her writings are original. They can’t. Their weak defense was that there were no copyright laws in Ellen’s day, so what she did was legal. You will never be told of her plagiarism by the SDA’s.
As Ellen was rising to prominence, Joseph Smith had just died. Her writings contain many phrases used by Joseph Smith. Mind you, he has also been accused of plagiarism. I have a thick file of similarities, but time does not permit details at this time, but it does illustrate just how far her “borrowing” went. You will definitely not be told of her similarities to Joseph Smith at the Seminars!
Consulting the Dead
You really won’t be told about Ellen G. White’s engaging in necromancy, communication with the dead, expressly forbidden by God in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 “There shall not be found among you anyone…who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord…”
This particular necromancy occurred after the death of her husband James, whom she called “Father”. She recounts the experience in a letter to her son published in “The Retirement Years” p. 161 – 163.
She begins her letter by stating that she was seeking God regarding her future,
“A few days since I was pleading with the Lord for light in regard to my duty”…
It is evident she believed this dream was in response to her prayers to God. James (whom she called “Father”) appeared beside her as she was in a carriage. She reported he looked “very pale, but calm and composed”. (After all, he was dead!)
She says,
“…I saw you die; I saw you buried. Has the Lord pitied me and let you come back…?”
We are not to have conversations with the dead, but Ellen and James converse back and forth about church matters and their health. At one point James foretells the future for Ellen,
“…Now, Ellen, calls will be made as they have been, desiring you to attend important meetings…”.
James, her dead husband, goes on to tell her she must avoid taxing her strength by going to meetings and retire and write instead. He tells her “…Make this your first business”.
Ellen now makes an agreement with her dead husband to stay in touch,
“Well, said I, James you are always to stay with me now and we will work together”.
This would involve further communication with the dead. Ellen recounts that she then awoke and took the whole matter as being from the Lord in these words,
“…I feel no duty to go to Battle Creek…I have no duty to stand in General Conference. THE LORD FORBIDS ME. That is enough.”
Well, that is enough to conclude, not only the letter, but the fact that Ellen consulted the dead and took it all as coming from the Lord. She indicated she wanted to continue this practice.
Can we trust this dream? No, of course not. How then are we to trust her other 200 or so “inspired by God” dreams and visions that occurred over her lifetime? We can’t, if we judge matters by the word of God. You won’t be told EGW practised necromancy at the Seminars!
Assorted Heresies
Many of the SDA cult lies have to do with her doctrines on health and food.
As an SDA you will be encouraged to become a vegetarian. Ellen indicated that your salvation could be dependent on giving up meat . No meat-eaters will be “translated” at Christ’s coming (Counsels on Diet and Foods p. 380).
You won’t be told this scripture by SDA’s
“…he who is weak in faith eats vegetables only…” (Romans 14:2). (Fun to read to vegetarians).
She taught in Counsels on Diet ..on p. 390 (some editions) that
“…if we subsist largely upon the flesh of dead animals, we shall partake of their nature”.
Partake of their nature? This is against God’s creation laws of “kind”, and Impossible. Also conveniently forgotten is Paul view, “Eat anything that is sold in the meat market, without asking questions for conscience’ sake.” ( 1 Cor. 10:25). Obviously no vegetarians evident in the early church!
Most of EGW’s concerns over diet were in an effort to control what she considered to be an excessive sex drive in the male. She devoted endless pages to discussing “secret vice” (masturbation) and blamed the practice for a wide range of diseases. Here, in “Solemn Appeal” page 12 are a few of the diseases said to be caused by “secret vice”
“…dyspepsia, spinal complaint, headache, epilepsy, impaired eyesight, palpitation of the heart, pain in the side, bleeding at the lungs, spasms of the heart and lungs, diabetes, incontinence of urine, fluor albus or whites, inflammation of the urinary organs… rheumatism, affected perspiration, consumption, asthma, catarrah, polypus of the heart, affection of the bones, fevers, ..etc. etc.
The cure for secret vice was even funnier. The perpetrator was to sit in a sitz bath at as low a temperature as possible. At the same time, he was to have a hot foot bath, while applying cold cloths to his forehead. He was also to wear an abdominal bandage or wet girdle at night “to good advantage”.
She concludes, “Cool bathing of the parts affected is also beneficial”.
I am absolutely not endorsing masturbation by making this public, let me assure you that this is not the case. Why don’t they charge their leader with the same accusation? She wrote about it much more than I ever have! I am merely exposing her silliness in health matters. You’ll never hear these ridiculous topics from the Adventists!
Thanks to Ellen White’s influence, the Kellogg brothers were inspired to develop cold corn flakes, as hot porridge could “heat the blood” with undesirable results!
She sternly warned against using feather beds for the same reasons, but I found a letter from her asking someone to send her her featherbed! (EGW Vol 3, p. 341).
She also developed a “reform dress” on instructions from God, which was a bulky affair with pants under a long dress. She gave up on wearing hers finally, and so did the other women, after years of suffering discomfort.
Other assorted nonsense included Angels needing golden cards as gate passes to get in and out of heaven. (Early Writings p. 37-39),
She also “travelled” to other planets in her visions, and also claimed to have met Enoch (more necromancy). (EGW: The Early Years Vol.1 p. 114; p.157).
She taught that certain races of men are the result of amalgamation between man and beast. (SG Vol 3, p. 64,75). Which races? You won’t be told this one at the Seminars, or even later!
Her silliness extended to wigs as well. Any woman daring to wear one would “…lose their reason and go hopelessly insane”. (Christian Mothers, # 2, p. 121).
There is much more but we shall stop here. What an abomination!
In conclusion, it is amazing to me that the SDA Church reveres Ellen G. White, choosing her visions, dreams, doctrines and teachings above the Bible. Other women had better run for cover, however, as they wouldn’t dream of ordaining a woman in their denomination which is totally male dominated.
Adventists love to quote Walter Martin who was “had” by them as a young man and believed their statements without checking matters out closely, to prove they are not a cult. However, before he died, he made this statement on the John Ankerberg Show:
“I fear that if they continue to progress at this rate, then the classification of a cult can’t possibly miss being reapplied to Seventh-day Adventism, because once you have an interpreter of Scripture, a final court of appeal that tells you what Scripture means, as soon as you judge Scripture by that, as soon as you have someone who has made doctrinal errors in the past, even on the deity of Christ and the doctrine of the atonement and other things, and that person is raised to that position or authority, you have polarization around that person”. Now, only if he had rebuked the catholics the same he might not be burning in an eternal hell. He sadly died an heretick who disguised himself well to the masses, pun intended, as he accepted wicked catholics as “brethren”. His protege, the “Bible Man” Hank Hannegraff recently converted to the wicked Orthodox religion, another accursed minister of satan heading for certain destruction! Back to SDA’s.
By their own actions and stubborn clinging to Ellen G. White, her extra-biblical teachings, visions, and doctrines, the Seventh-day Adventists have placed themselves in the category of a cult. They certainly won’t tell you this fact! They are a cult!
IN CONCLUSION
SDA’s often make every effort to appear “Christian”, joining in with inter-ministry groups and trying to “blend in” with the Christian community.
However, make no mistake about it, they believe they are exclusively correct because they recognize and follow the wicked Ellen G. White. Among themselves, they mock the true Christian’s beliefs and privately consider themselves to be spiritually superior to the rest of us. If you know an SDA, reprove them out of love as they will perish forever lest they repent.
