Reformation Theology is Wrong About Faith (and its Error Has Spread Everywhere)
Even “Mr. Faith Alone” Martin Luther’s favorite Bible verse (Romans 1:17) demonstrates that continual justification before God is conditioned upon continually living by faith.
Good works, as defined by the Bible, are not a by-product of salvation. They are rather a necessary expression of a living faith in Christ.
The foolish man who built on the sand somehow thought he could mock God by living in disobedience while also having a saving interest in Christ.
Acts 24:15-16 and 1 Timothy 1:19-20 prove that maintaining a good conscience towards God is necessary to continue in faith- and thus continue in His grace.
2 Peter 2:18-22 shows that Christians being told that sinning won’t affect their standing in Christ will cause them to return to pursuing sin- which will in turn cause them to fall from grace.
One who receives all of Scripture and rightly divides it would stress Ephesians 5:5-6 to the same extent as Ephesians 2:8-9. Protestants and Evangelicals typically know Ephesians 2:8-9, but they hardly any know Ephesians 5:5-6: “For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.”
Calvinists/Reformation Theology believers (and other unconditional security believers) will tell those whom they regard as heathens that the sins they are committing will send them to hell- yet they won’t tell those in their own camp that they’ll go to hell for doing the very same things. This displays partiality, a double standard, and hypocrisy.
Jesus rebuked many in the seven churches of Asia in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 for many things- yet never for thinking they needed to labor nor for anything related to believing in synergism. We actually find the very opposite. These chapters also especially prove that Christians are truly on probation.
Jesus did not esteem the righteousness of those whom He commended in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 as filthy rags.
Salvation by faith alone= You don’t have to really live like a disciple of Christ. James recognized that evil implication and contended against those who promote the concept (such as Luther and the Calvinist/Reformed Theology crowd) as he wrote the epistle of James.
The Israelites believing that they needed to diligently keep the Passover instructions to be saved by the Passover blood did not oppose salvation by God’s grace through faith. It rather illustrates the concept. The Apostles of Christ used Old Testament examples to explain salvation by grace through faith.
