Divine Healing?? Pentecostals / Charismatics believe healing goes hand and hand with forgiveness of sins. We shall prove this wrong from the bible. The “assembly of god” and other heretical denominations of it’s ilk say healing is an integral part of the believers life. RUBBISH! They use Isa 53:4-5 (Notice this carefully)
Isa 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Matthew only quotes the FIRST part of verse 4 and it’s not a reference to the atonement like the rest of the verse and the following verse is!!!
Matthew 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. (Matthew stops at this, before the CROSS).
Where is the promise to CHRISTIANS that they can heal?
They say Jesus healed everybody and all one needs is faith to be healed. We can’t tell you how many people are sick here in America and in 3rd world countries that are TRUE, OBEDIENT CHRISTIANS! One thing to keep in mind, diving healing was to prove that JESUS was MESSIAH!
Romans 15:8-9 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: 9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
Acts 3:25-26 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Miracles prove the truth of the bible when it’s 1st entering into a region. Then it’s not needed. It’s not needed today. He healed to prove to the Jews that He was the Messiah.
Jesus UPBRAIDED the cities that believed not after they witnessed these miracles.
The Pentacostals go to 1 Peter 2:24-25
1Pe 2:24-25 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
What is this healing? A spiritual healing… Verse 25 proves this!
The “healing everyone” doctrine is demonic. These “Joel Osteen / Benny Hinn” deceivers fleece the flock! This makes the gospel humanistic and deceives so many. The healing is from the bondage of sin , not “KNEE PAIN”!
Mat 9:12-13 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick(SPIRITUALLY SICK).13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
To Paul: (Jesus did NOT tell Paul to heal). Always about repentance!
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Acts 26:19-20 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
Rom 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith(for RIGHTEOUSNESS). Not for our bodies to be healed!
There was not a more appropriate place in the bible for Paul to write about bodily healing than in Romans, was there? It’s not there!
The Word of Faith heresy teaches yuo are already healed and you just need to speak it and claim it!
God never denies sickness and death is a reality. Jesus did not deny Lazarus is dead.
Joh 11:11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
Joh 11:12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
Joh 11:13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
Joh 11:14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
Joh 11:15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
Another reason the “divine healing” Word of Faith is heresy! It’s not the power of words that heal! It’s not NAME IT & CLAIM IT! God does not deny a believer was sick (Epaphroditus).
Php 2:25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
Php 2:26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.
Php 2:27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
Another believer sick not by sin!
2Ti 4:20 Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
How about this?? Natural healing! Did not tell him to pray the sickness away! Timothy had physical infirmities!
1Ti 5:23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.
People who use this doctrine know very well they have been sick after coming to Christ! They know many others that have been or are physically sick too!
They even tell people they can rebuke the weather!
Sin can cause sickness and people will pay for it, no doubt (or be chastised as a Christian and they MUST REPENT)!
1Co 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
1Co 11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
1Co 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
1Co 11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
1Co 11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world(If we repent in godly sorrow from sin).
1Co 11:33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
1Co 11:34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
The other sctipture theu use is James 5:14-16 they use incorrectly.
Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
If a believer does get sick, they should obey what is in these verses, this is no doubt. If there has been sin, they should confess it and the elders should pray for them. But God may not heal everyone! There is a purpose to some sicknesses too.
Another common belief is a believer may lay hands on another person and they should be healed. Notice this says ELDERS of the CHURCH and its for BELEIVERS!
The miracles in the bible typically happened at strategic times.
Biblical History
“Think about it for a second, who could do miracles in the Bible?
The first person that comes to mind is Jesus of course and the disciples. The other would be Elijah and of course Elisha after him. And finally, we have Moses, as well as Joshua with a miracle or two of his own. Can you think of anyone else? Anyone between Adam and Moses? Anyone between Moses and Elijah? Even one person between Elijah and Jesus? 6000 years at least of world history and only 200 years where people could do miracles?
It’s fascinating to think through this because it would seem like God is a cessationist himself.
Typically, man is inside the “can’t do miracles box” and only gets let out for about 60-70 years at a time only to be put back into the box for centuries. Let’s say that between Adam and Moses, there are about 2500 years of history, in this time there was no human being could do miracles. Then, for about 60 years, God allowed Moses and Joshua to be able to do a dozen or so miracles. Then, between Joshua and Elijah, there were about 500 years, and, again, for about 60 years God allowed Elijah and Elisha to be outside of the box and perform about a dozen miracles. So, for about 4000 years of Old Testament history, only four men were able to do miracles for a total of 120-140 years, and only a couple dozen miracles at that. Finally, 900 years after Elijah, God Himself came to earth and did an incredible number of miracles, and then allowed His disciples to do many miracles for about 60-70 years until the apostle John passed away. And for 2000 years of church history God only allowed a few miracle workers for a minor fraction of that time. And consistent with Bible history, the Lord put man back into the box where he belongs and took over the duties of lone miracle worker. Benny Hinn and the like are deliberately lying to millions! They are NOT of GOD!”
GOD HIMSELF SAID THIS!!! Not some human false prophet! Don’t listen, rebuke them! Psa 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
2Co 10:18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth
They confuse emotion with the power of God. They can’t defend their wretched soul with scripture.
Word of Faith/Prosperity/Charismatic
Kenneth Hagin is one of the founders. Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Joseph Prince, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyers, Paula White, etc, etc are wicked ministers of satan!
2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
Doing God’s will can heal marriages, for example, AND it could DESTROY ONE! Don’t believe the lies of these heretics!
1Th 3:3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
They preach wicked earthly wealth! The OPPOSITE of what the bible says!
Jas 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
Jas 5:2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
Jas 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
Jas 5:4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
Jas 5:5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
The Word of Faith believe they are “little gods”. How perverse! The serpent said the same thing to Eve!
“Mighty Ones” used in Psalm 82 does not mean we are a “little god”! It’s a new age concept.
If one believes that money = blessings, then every single Christian in 3rd world countries who live in dire poverty is not “blessed”. RUBBISH!!!
1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
1Ti 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Ti 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1Ti 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Php 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
2Co 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich(character/spiritually/ultimate salvation), yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
The shouting, the loud music, the circus acts, etc of these wicked movements are all blasphemy to a Holy God!
God allows suffering in a Christians life!
2Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
2Co 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Repent from the Pentacostalism/Charasmatic/Word of Faith heresy!

God gave healing powers directly to the Apostles!
Romans 15:18-19 The true full gospel is obedience by word and deed to fulfill Matthew 28:18-20; miracles were only given to the Apostles to further that goal.
Rom 15:17 I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
Rom 15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
Rom 15:19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
