“Just the Essentials”? Unequal Yoking
BELIEVERS MUST BE ON THE SAME PAGE… MUST HAVE THE SAME FAITH…. THE IS NO UNITY IN FALSE DOCTRINE AND JESUS JUDGED (AND JUDGES) THOSE WHO TEACH IT IT THE MOST HARSH
1st Corinthians 1:10 “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that YE ALL SPEAK THE SAME THING, and that there be NO DIVISIONS AMONG YOU; but that YE BE PERFECTLY JOINED TOGETHER IN THE SAME MIND AND IN THE SAME JUDGMENT.”
I have seen so many fall away from Jesus as they compromise either with the “world” OR they compromise with others that have false doctrine. A damnable error that will lead directly to an eternal lake of fire….
2nd Peter 3:14-18 “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that YE LOOK FOR SUCH THINGS, BE DILIGENT that ye may be found of him in peace, WITHOUT SPOT (WITHOUT SIN), and BLAMELESS. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which THEY THAT ARE UNLEARNED AND UNSTABLE WREST, as they do also the other SCRIPTURES, UNTO THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, BEWARE lest YE ALSO, BEING LED AWAY (FROM SALVATION) with the error of the wicked, FALL FROM YOUR OWN stedfastness. 18 But GROW IN GRACE, AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I hear people say “but I was off on some doctrine way back and have come around”…
Can you truly walk with a person that brings false doctrine? Do you not have any conviction? NO!
If Your Brother Sins Against You
Matthew 18:15-20 “Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

“They delight in those who commit sin (THOSE WHO BRING WRONG DOCTRINE ARE ACCURSED/SINFUL; and hence, encourage them in it (YOKE WITH THEM/EXCUSE & ENABLE THEM – MOST DO THIS OUT OF RESPECTER OF PERSONS…YET ANOTHER SIN), and excite them to it. This is a grievous aggravation of the offence. It greatly heightens guilt when we excite others to do it, and seduce them from the ways of innocence. That this was the case with the pagan there can be no doubt. People do not commit sin often alone. They need the countenance of others. They “join hand in hand,” and become confederate in iniquity. All social sins are of this class; and most of those which the apostle mentioned were sins of this character.”

There is Perfect Unity in the Body of Christ
Ephesians 4:1-5 “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the UNITY OF THE SPIRIT in the bond of peace. 4 THERE IS ONE BODY, and ONE SPIRIT, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism”
From false doctrine to improper dress, these sins are not to be condoned or excused no matter what the individual is doing (“preaching”, missions, etc).
Proverbs 17:15 “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even THEY ARE BOTH AN ABOMINATION to the LORD.”
The modern church “Main St” system and idolatrous, disrespectful, revilers have accepted what is shameful and blatantly justifies their actions in their “liberty” and “love” for their neighbors. This is false love of the world which I used to have. This unequal yoking is also on so called “holiness” circles too. They are too cowardly to separate from the “group” so they sin by yoking with hereticks that have false doctrines like calvinism, baptize, pentecostal/charismatics, etc, etc.
THE “DOUBTFUL DISPUTATION” EXCUSE
Romans 14:1-3 “Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.”
These verses are used as an excuse to receive sin into the fellowship/preaching circle, etc when God does not receive them into His. The blind indoctrinated pew warmers and/or “street preachers”, abortion activists, etc tell us that we are not to “dispute,” or “judge” because they are disputable matters and we all need “unity” for the “greater good”. Further, they say “as long as we agree on the essentials all is good” they spew. Rubbish!
The error is that they are NOT authorized disputable matters attested in Scripture because disputable matters are not in the realm of the sin of breaking God’s laws (like having abominable doctrine the denominations spew like OSAS (unconditional eternal security), unconditional imputed righteousness, progressive sanctification, etc.
The context of “Romans 14” are on matters that are neither required, nor prohibited (wrong or sinful). In verses 14, 16 and 20, they are matters that are deemed by Paul as “good,” “pure,” or “clean” in receiving one another in our fellowship based on Scripturally authorized liberties, NOT on sinful matters and behaviors that imitate evil sinners (including and especially “saved sinners”) who try to justify their filth. To shift from one category “to another and call it a “liberty” is grave, damnable error.
Restoring a Sinner – a FORMER brother that walked away from Jesus
James 5:19 “Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”
PAUL STAYED IN ONE PLACE 3 YEARS AND WARNED WITH TEARS! AS HE WAS DEPARTING, HE LEFT THIS WARNING…
Acts 20:29-32 “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also OF YOUR OWN SELVES (SPEAKING TO THE CHURCH) shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to DRAW AWAY DISCIPLES after them. 31 Therefore WATCH, and REMEMBER, that by the space of THREE YEARS I CEASED NOT TO WARN every one NIGHT AND DAY WITH TEARS. 32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which ARE SANCTIFIED.”
THOSE WHO BRING ANY FALSE DOCTRINE ARE LAWLESS

2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.”
1st Corinthians 10:32 “Give none offence (TO ENCOURAGE SIN), neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: 33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.”
The above verses in general are speaking to not leading people into sin either by false, Galatians 1:8-9 abominable doctrine or any other sinful actions. It is speaking to the Gentile TRUE believers to not harshly judge the TRULY believing in Jesus Jews that may be still keeping part of the ceremonial law as of course they were accustomed to as it was early in the Christian Church’s existence. Of course today, after 2,000 years and with all the Scripture very available we are to rebuke Judiazers that preach the OT ceremonial law. It means that we don’t judge unrighteousely or too swiftly IF someone is truly searching for Jesus and may have some doctrine wrong, etc. Those in blatant sin and those who teach false and ecumenical doctrine need rebuke and separation from true believers.
Romans 14:13 “Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.”
